Election Night Interfaith Prayers for Peace

7:30 PM

For the past two presidential elections, South Street has hosted an Election Day Communion service, joining together with our ecumenical friends, We have gathered as the polls close, before results are announced, to celebrate that which unites us.

We will gather in the sanctuary at 7:30 p.m. on November 3 for Interfaith Prayers for Peace, featuring speakers representing many different faith groups and traditions and musicians from South Street. We will close the brief gathering by lighting candles to symbolize our personal commitment to peace in these divisive times. Masks will be required, temperatures checked, and seating is limited. To RSVP, call or text Deanna at (940) 867-9769. The event also will be live-streamed at
